Members participate in and take up the work of a sub-committee.
Educate, Mobilize, Organize around our three issues and those adopted in future.
Create a structure and organization to develop political muscle/pressure over time to win demands related to our issues.
Build the broadest base of support that will unite teachers, parents, students and community around our issues.
Build the organizational power of teachers inside and outside of the UFT to promote our demands, rights and interests. We want the UFT to be an active force that will take up the issues and demands decided democratically by its rank and file who comprise the majority.
Promote a UFT contract that includes our positions on these issues.”
